Giselle Martin M.D.
Dr. Giselle Martin is a board certified general ophthalmologist specializing in
small incision cataract surgeries with a concentration in premium intraocular
implants, pterygium removals and early detection and treatment of glaucoma.
She also performs other services such as refraction, contact lens fitting, dry eye
evaluation and retinal diagnosis.
Dr. Martin was born in Cuba before leaving to Spain at 1 year of age. She has lived in Spain, Illinois, California and Puerto Rico, where she received her Bachelor of Science after completing only three years of college in an accelerated program. She then attended the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, where she also completed her residency program in Ophthalmology.
Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, Dr. Martin has worked in a successful private practice since her training and has contributed to the ophthalmology residency program as an Assistant Professor with direct surgical and clinical teaching and supervision of residents.
She is currently living in the Naples area with her husband and 2 children and continues her pursuit of excellent patient care, diagnosis and treatment.
