Doctor Fisher

Dr. G. Brit Fisher III is the founder and medical director of Fisher Eye & Laser Center. He is a board certified Ophthalmologist. Dr. Fisher was accepted into the prestigious Lyman Briggs School of science at Michigan State University and completed his undergraduate Bachelors degree in Physiology. He continued with his medical school training at Michigan State and graduated with honors in 1991. Dr. Fisher completed his residency in Ophthalmology in 1999 through Michigan State University/Metropolitan Hospital. Additional training with a LASIK mini-fellowship was obtained at the Colorado Eye Institute. Dr. Fisher specializes in Cataract and Refractive vision correction surgeries.

Dr. Fisher has been invited to speak at national conventions regarding new technology and advances in refractive surgery. He is an active member of many societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, International Society of Refractive Surgeons, American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and the Collier County Medical Society.

Since 1999, Dr. Fisher has been practicing in Naples, Florida, and also has extensive experience in the medical management of eye diseases such as glaucoma and diabetes . He has performed thousands of corrective eye surgeries including cataracts, deluxe lens implant surgery, LASIK, Epi-LASIK, and NearVision CK.
